OUR SPACES
We offer an intimate setting in a conveniently located Manhattan garden apartment for readings of plays and musicals in development. Refreshments are available upon request for a slight additional fee. Maximum seating capacity is thirty-five.
Some of the works that have been presented over the past years include:
"Eatonville" by Bonnie Rattner (based on the Zora Neale Hurston novel, "Their Eyes Were Watching God") featuring Norm Lewis, of Broadway's "The Little Mermaid."
"Beatrice" by Carmen Daeler, a cabaret singer/actress, whose most recent appearance was in a French review entitled "Rendezvous.".
"Ava" by Bonnie Corso, based on the later years in the life of Ava Gardner, that enjoyed a very successful run at the Downstairs Cabaret Theater in Rochester, NY in September, 2007
* "The Shaggs" by Joy Gregory and Gunner Madsen, the true-life story of an all-girl band from New Hampshire who were deemed "better than the Beatles!"
"Vivian" by Rick Foster, a one-woman show about Vivien Leigh that garnered rave reviews at Philadelphia's Walnut Theater in February 2008
"Cold as Ice" by Frank D'Agostino, an inventive look at the world of competitive ice skating that went on to have its world premiere starring Oksana Baiul at the Gateway Musical Theater on Long Island and is slated for Broadway.

"Joan Liman's salon is a comfortable and intimate
setting that brings out the best in the performers and
the piece. And Joan herself is a gracious host - all
the more reason why I consider LimanAde an integral
part of The StoryLine Project's development of new
theatre work." — R.K. Greene, The StoryLine Project
"Greetings from Yorkville" by Robert Grusecki and Anya Turner, an autobiographical musical that ran at the Soho Playhouse in Fall, 2007
* "Unlock'd" by Sam Carner and Derek Gregor.
It won "The Best In Fest" Award at NYMF 2007 and Talkin Broadway called it "One of the most ravishing musicals of 2007!"
"A Musical Journey: The Music of Charles Aznavour, Jacques Brel and Kurt Weill" written by Bob Ost and featuring Vickie Phillips that had several runs at Dillon's Cabaret
There is also a larger space available for cocktail party fundraisers, with a maximum capacity of fifty. Organizations that have held such events include Amas Musical Theatre (September, 2006) and Theater Resources Unlimited (May, 2007).
* both were selected for presentation in NYMF (NY Musical Theater Festival) with "Unlock'd" winning "Best of Fest" honors in 2007
